Gift Aid API
Gift Aid API files Gift Aid claims to HMRC for charities, and for the agents and nominees acting for them. You send donations; it builds the claim, submits it, and follows it until HMRC answers.
It is a product of Mukras Ltd, a private company that files to HMRC on your behalf. It is not HMRC, and not a government service.
For charities and agents
Register your organisation once. When a person at giftaidapi has approved it, your software, or the software you use, sends donations, and every claim made from them reaches HMRC without anyone retyping a form.
For developers
One REST API with a published contract. A claim is filed at most once, whatever your retries do, and totals are computed by the API, exact to the penny.
